Summary : The aim of this thesis is to analyze the evolution of fiscal policy, from the anti-Keynesian counter-revolution to the sovereign debt crisis. As a result, the main analyzes that have favored the development of fiscal policy under a regime of domination will be studied. Before fiscal policy is analyzed under the lens of recent crises. It should be noted that under a regime of monetary dominance, fiscal policy adjusts to remain solvent, while monetary policy is entirely devoted to price stability. This configuration assumes that fiscal policy is an instrument of inefficient cyclical stability. Thus, theories that question the effectiveness of fiscal policy under a regime of monetary domination will be addressed initially. Secondly, the consequences of recent crises on fiscal policy will be highlighted. The study of the return of Keynesian-inspired fiscal policies and their criticism after the financial and economic crisis of 2007-2008 shows that fiscal policy is an instrument of economic stability.
